Native food and botanicals cultural careers expo

Hosted by Food Futures Company, EM-power Foundation and Tauondi Aboriginal College.

We are thrilled to announce the Native food and botanicals cultural career expo! This free, two-day event is an opportunity for First Nations women and girls, in South Australia, to come together to explore cultural knowledge and practices associated with native food and botanicals and ways to lead development and innovation within the native agri+food sector.

Event Details

School stream:

This stream is designed for First Nations young women in secondary schools and spans two days, from 22nd August to 23rd August. It offers a comprehensive experience, connecting students with cultural leaders, educational partners, and First Nations led businesses in the native agri+food sector. 

Workshops for First Nations women:

Focused on connecting culture and careers, these workshops are exclusively for First Nations women and takes place on the first day of the event, Thursday 22nd August. Participants will engage with community leaders throughout the day to explore connecting culture to career via opportunities with native food and botanicals within the native agri+food sector. 

Join us for this inspiring gathering to connect, learn and lead in the world of native food and botanicals.

Workshops for First Nations women  

Journeying between and within, exploring culture + career. Meet and connect with First Nations women to  share stories and explore culture +career via native plants and food.
