Food Futures Company founder, Dr Christine Pitt is a globally recognised thought leader, investor and entrepreneur in the ag+food tech ecosystem. She has a particular interest in building globally networked agrifood ecosystems and supporting disruptors who use innovation across the value chain.
As co-founder of Food Futures Company and director for Australian Native Food & Botanicals (ANFAB), Christine is passionate about growing the native food sector to ensure an ethical supply chain and a sustainable future for Australia.
When she isn’t dialing in to connect with her Australian counterparts at Food Futures Company or Farmers2Founders, Christine is making waves as co-founder of GROW. Grow is a fund-backed accelerator and is a joint venture partnership with US and Singapore based venture capital firm AgFunder.
Co-Founder, Executive Director
Food Futures Company co-founder, Skye Raward has gained a holistic knowledge of the food industry. For over 16 years, Skye has worked in a variety of different creative and managerial roles within the hospitality, food and larger corporate food manufacturing sectors. Skye holds a Bachelor of Business (Hotel Management), a Masters in Marketing and she is a fully qualified chef.
Skye brings specialised capabilities in the design, delivery and facilitation of pre-accelerator and accelerator programs for start ups and scale ups; Dedicated business coaching for start ups in different stages of growth and the implementation of food innovation networks that build strong partnerships and collaborations.
Skye possesses a unique combination of academic and research skills; creative flair; and hands-on business experience in hospitality, food manufacturing and startup life. She is passionate about food and the food industry and the opportunity to make a difference.
Influenced by a rural upbringing & tertiary qualifications in Agri Science, Peter Crane GAICD has a personal understanding and passion for the issues surrounding agriculture and farming. He is committed to help drive the sector forward to the mutual benefit of society and industry.
As Executive Director, Peter is an experienced leader with a rare combination of senior strategic roles spanning the Food and Agricultural Industries. He has a proven ability to design and lead R&D programs and teams that facilitate concept generation through to commercial delivery in multiple industries, most recently in food. Collaborative by nature, Peter has an active, diverse, and relevant network, with many productive and mutual relationships at a senior levels in both corporate and government entities.
Peter has a track record of inspiring organisations, teams, and individuals to excel and combines honesty and loyalty, with high levels of personal integrity.
Marketing and Communications Coordinator
With a love for purpose, Libby has a background in bringing communities together to educate, motivate and act. As a farmer's daughter, Libby appreciates the importance of understanding how your food is produced, where it comes from, and the important role of voting with your wallet plays.
Libby has worked in marketing for over ten years in sectors including health and wellness and for a leading craft beer company in the Northern Rivers, where she learned the power of local.
Outside of the office, Libby sits on the Sydney Women's Counselling Centre board where she actively advocates for women. She has campaigned for sustainable development, created and implemented programs using education material to decrease the rates of malaria and infant mortality in a remote part of the globe and been proactive in making her own backyard a better place to live.
